Hyperbaric Medicine

The anticipated opening of the hyperbaric medicine program at Miracle Mile Medical Center will provide alternative therapies primarily for the treatment of the diabetic patient with extensive wound management needs often secondary to infection or poor healing. Treatment within the hyperbaric chamber allows the blood plasma to become saturated resulting in the transport of concentrated oxygen to the body's tissues thereby promoting healing continued use of hyperbaric oxygen increases the body's immune and healing responses.
